Electrical Repair
Diagnose, isolate, fix — not just "reset the breaker and hope."
The most annoying electrical problems are the intermittent ones — the breaker that trips once a week, the light that flickers only when the AC kicks on, the outlet that stops working when it rains. Those are the calls we like. Diagnostic work, done properly, so the problem actually goes away.
Tripping-breaker diagnosis
Overloaded circuit, ground fault, arc fault, or bad breaker — four different problems, four different fixes. We use clamp-on ammeters and load tracing, not guesswork.
Flickering lights
Loose neutral, failing dimmer, incompatible LED, or utility-side voltage problem. We isolate before we replace.
Dead outlets & switches
Wiring behind an outlet fails silently. GFCIs upstream trip and kill a whole run. We find the actual open, not a symptom.
Buzzing / arcing panels
Bad breaker, loose lug, or aluminum-copper connection. Buzzing is a warning — don't wait.
Before you call.
How do you charge for troubleshooting?
Diagnostic fee for the first hour, then fixed-price for the repair after we know what's wrong. No open-ended clock.
Can you fix it if the wiring is behind a finished wall?
Yes — we minimize wall damage, but sometimes access holes are needed. We'll walk you through options before cutting anything.
